Kinsale Woman Missing

Gardaí in Kinsale are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 25-year-old Elzbieta Ewa Konik.

Elzbieta was last seen in Kinsale at approximately 6pm on Wednesday 10 March.

She is described as being 5′5″ (1.66m) tall. She has brown eyes and blond/brown shoulder length hair.

When last seen she was wearing black/grey jeans, a black coat and brown shoes.

The Blue Haven Hotel, Kinsale, was one of 17 businesses in Cork Pick up Green Hospitality Awards

Hospitality businesses in Cork swept the board picking up awards for excellence in Environmental Management from the Green Hospitality Awards programme (www.ghaward.ie). The presentations took place at the Hayfield Manor Hotel, Cork on Thursday 11th March 2010 at which 17 businesses in Cork received awards. The awards were introduced by Dr. Brendan Murphy, President of the Cork Institute of Technology.

“Cork Institute of Technology is proud of the achievements of the Green Hospitality Awards Programme which we have developed through The Clean Technology Centre in conjunction with our partners, Hospitality Solution Consulting since 2004. CTC has been at the forefront of promoting sustainability since as far back as 1992 and we are very pleased with its continued success”, said Mr. Murphy. “GHA has also made significant economic savings for Irish business through reduced utility costs over the years with many new member hotels saving an estimated €1000 per bedroom in the first year of joining the programme alone”.
