Kinsale Lions Club

Kinsale Lions Club, Thursday and Friday 4th. and 5th. December, are involved again with Cork City Hospitals Childrens Club in running a Christmas Spectacular at Fota House.

The Kinsale Vintage Car Club very generously transport the children both ways between the hospitals and Fota House.

Last year 180 sick children from 5 hospitals visited Santa in two days. They all enjoy a sit down meal, there are face painters, a disco, several clowns, the house is decorated with spectacular 10 foot trees inside the hall and there are masses of toys. They leave on a red carpet and are swamped by presents at the end of a memorable day

Kinsale’s Annual Black & White Ball to aid local Charities
November 15th
The Blue Haven combined with Hamlets Café Bar will be the spectacular venue for the Kinsale’s Annual Black & White Ball on November 15th 2008.
Up to 350 guests will provide their support to local charities, with proceeds from ticket sales being distributed to local charities in the lead up to the Christmas season.

On arrival guests will be greeted on the ‘’lawn’’ with a Sparkling Reception, then be enticed with smooth jazz as they walk through the lobby, setting the tone for the evening and with a delicious roaming banquet of sensational food. The crescendo of the night will inevitably be the energetic headlining performance in the hotel’s main bar along with various other entertainment throughout the evening.

Tickets are available from The Blue Haven Kinsale and Muddy Maher’s pub price is €60 per person.

The Style and Body Academy workshop to be held @ The Blue Haven Kinsale, Saturday 22nd of November. A full day course that includes the best advice in Fashion Tips, Relationships, hair and make up. With high emphasis on health and nutrition, the course will otline also advice on food, exercise and personal goals.

Lisa Fitzpatrick and she is one of Ireland’s foremost stylists.
Karl Henry from Operation Transformations and works with clients who are willing to work hard to achieve their health and fitness goals.
Paula Callan- O’Keefe celebrated make up artist working with supermodels.
Only 70 places are available for this exclusive day. Costs are €100 per person and includes healthy nutritious lunch, and then to finish off a glass of sparkling wine in the Blue Haven.
