Smoke On The Water

Kinsale was enveloped in a thick cloud of smoke this afternoon. A massive gorse fire in Nohoval blanketed the southern coast with a foglike billow of fumes.
This photo was taken today Wednesday 14 May at 4:30pm on what otherwise would have been the end of beautiful sunny afternoon. The fire was apparently along an inaccessible cliff face near Nohoval. The area finally cleared by suppertime.
